JLR Play CIC is very pleased to share that we have a new home!!

From Monday 5th June 2023 Home From Home breakfast and after school club will be operating from East Barnwell Scout Centre (41 Thorleye Road.  Cambridge.  CB5 8NF).

​

Home From Home is registered with Ofsted and is included on both the voluntary and compulsory childcare registers to enable us to care for children aged 3 years to 7 years.

​

Home From Home in Abbey is registered to provide care for up to 24 children per session between the ages of 4 years (reception) and 7 years

Home From Home is also able to offer up to 4 places per session for children aged from 3 years who are attending nursery provision.

​

Please note that children aged 8 years and over are not included in the Ofsted registration however we do our best to maintain a staffing ratio of 1 adult to 10 children per session.

​

At present Home From Home in Abbey can offer 40 places in total per session to children attending The Galfrid Community Primary School.

​

Breakfast Club will run from 7.30am to the start of the school day. 

Children are accompanied from East Barnwell Scout Centre to the school to ensure a clear handover of care.

Breakfast is offered up to 8am for all children attending and the cost of the session is £3.00 per child.

​

After School Club will run from the end of the school day to 5.45pm. 

Reception, year 1 and year 2 children will be met by JLR Play CIC staff from their classrooms.

Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 children will be met by JLR Play CIC staff at a central designated meeting point in the playground.

​

A light snack is available for all children attending and the cost of the sessions are as follows - 

3.15pm to 4.30pm at £6.00 per child.

3.15pm to 5.15pm at £8.00 for the first child and £7.00 for siblings. 

3.15pm to 5.45pm at £10.00 for the first child and £9.00 for siblings

Pick-up's available from Seesaw Pre-School.

(Pick-up's available for children aged 3 to 4 years).

 

Pick-up's are also available from Fen Ditton School.
